    seemed like a no-brainer for a big runabout with four wheel drive. I went for the 3.0 engine as it seemed likely to be a bit more reliable - from talking to other owners. I'm surprised how pleasant it is to drive and how comfortable on dirt roads - seems a bit more stable that other rear-wheel drive cars I've used on the dirt. i'm not talking about real "off roading" just hacking around on smooth gravel roads at a fair speed.

    I love my outback, couldn't afford a new one, but they made these so well it does not feel like and older car at all. It drives superbly and has so much room. No complaints at all.

    This is second time I've bought this model Outback. Love these cars. I buy them on my long term visits to NZ. I wish I could take one home to Australia but too much paper work etc.

    The features that come with this car are very good (Full Time 4WD, Cruise Control, Leather, Heated Seats) for the price. Car has plenty of room and the power plant delivers plenty of performance.

    Nice to drive quiet on the road lots of room and ability to tackle moderately rough off road tracks fuel consumption on the high side if that's a concern
